The Young Professor gives you the status of both Iceman and Toad. (both are Left Out. Click on each one's picture and type 'L')

Since Toad’s clue tells you no one in a corner is a Host, and Iceman’s clue tells you two versions of the same character can’t match, then Old Professor X must be Invited.

Old Professor gives you Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. (They are all adjacent to the Young Professor.)

Nightcrawler’s clue tells you that out of the four other blue people—Mystique 1, Mystique 2, Young Beast, and Frasier Beast—only one was Left Out. Since you know two of the same character cannot match, this must mean that at least one of the pairs contains a Host. Cyclops tells you that there’s no Host in the fourth column, which rules out both Beasts. You know that none of the corner characters are a Host, which leaves only Mystique 2.0 as the Host. This also means that the Left Out "blue person" is one of the Beasts, since they cannot both be Invited and you know neither is a Host. Therefore Mystique 1.0 was invited.

Mystique 2.0 tells you that only two people in the first row were invited. You already have them both, so that means Young Beast was left out. Which also means Frasier Beast was invited.

You now have your one female Host, so any remaining females are either Invited or Left Out. (Young Professor’s clue.) You also know that there are no more Invited people in the first row, so Emma Frost was Left Out.

Emma Frost’s clue tells you that Kitty Pryde cannot be Left Out, since she is adjacent to another Left Out character in the first column. You also know she’s not the Host since she is both female and adjacent to another Host, so she’s Invited.

Young Stryker is not Invited (Mystique 2’s clue) and is diagonally connected to Rogue, so not a Host (Kitty Pryde’s clue); therefore he was Left Out.

Young Stryker’s clue tells you that the only person adjacent to storm that was Invited was Kitty Pryde. So the rest must be Left Out or a Host. The ones that cannot be a Host—Sebastian Shaw (diagonal w/Rogue and adjacent to another Host) and Bolivar Trask (diagonal w/Rogue and in a corner) must have been Left Out.

[There are several different routes from here] Old Stryker cannot be Left Out because he cannot match Young Stryker. He also cannot be Invited because he’s adjacent to Storm. Therefore he is a Host.

Trask’s clue tells you that there’s one column where no one is Left Out. At this point that can only be the sixth column. Blink is in the sixth column so she’s not Left Out, and she’s female so not a Host. So she’s Invited.

Revisiting Jean Grey’s clue, the only possible Left Out female that is adjacent to another Left Out female is Rogue.

Victor Creed is adjacent to Rogue and so not a Host, and also in the sixth column so not Left Out. So he’s invited.

If you’re going in this order, his clue tells you Deadpool is the last Host. (also, if you’re able to distinguish between a lower-case ‘l’ and a capital ‘I’, Deadpool’s last mumble gives you all of the answers in order)

Revisiting Old Stryker’s clue, the only two people in the third row that could be Invited and not adjacent are Stan Lee and Old Magneto.

Since you have all the Hosts, this also means Wolverine is Left Out and Young Magneto is Left Out (cannot match Old Magneto.)

Young Magneto tells you there’s only one column where only one person was Invited, and if you look at the columns, his column (second column-which should be full now) only has one invited person. So that must be the one. Therefore Yukio was invited (otherwise there would only be one Invited person in her column.)

Storm must now be the third Left Out female. (Jean Grey’s clue.)

Revisiting Mystique 2’s clue gives you Havok. Revisiting Blink’s clue gives you Angel. Havok’s clue gives you Banshee. And then you’re done!
